Lagunillas

The terrain at Lagunillas is characterized by its open slopes and gentle gradients. The area is largely treeless, providing wide-open views of the surrounding mountains. While not known for extreme steeps or challenging freeride zones, the resort offers a pleasant environment for learning and cruising.

The snow in this region of the Andes tends to be influenced by both maritime and continental weather patterns, resulting in a variable snowpack. While not consistently dry powder, the area can receive significant snowfall throughout the season.

Aspect plays a significant role in snow conditions, with south-facing slopes receiving more direct sunlight and potentially experiencing faster melt cycles. North-facing slopes tend to hold snow longer, offering better conditions later into the season.
